Village Trail Spinga/Spinges
This trail begins at the village square and runs in the direction of Gaiseggell, one of many great lookouts and photo spots in Spinga/Spinges. After you pass the ‘Wetterkreuz‘ weather cross – (generally erected to give thanks for recovery from illness) and the bunker (a relict of Mussolini’s times), you do some Nordic Walking along the ridge and walk back to the village square.
Katharina Lanz Trail
The Katharina Lanz trail offers great panoramic views over the sunny village of Spinga/Spinges. On this easy trail, you walk through the nearby pine forest and around the ‘Bühel’, passing the Old ‘Stöckl’ and return via the Junkergasse to the village.
Alpine pasture Trail
This more demanding Nordic Walking tour starts at the ‘Wetterkreuz‘ -weather cross – (generally erected to give thanks for recovery from illness) in Spinga/Spinges (starting position: Joch Valley lift facility). First of all, you walk along an easy Alpine road until you come to Uitzbruggen. From there, you go along a hiking path, passing luscious Alpine meadows and larch forests until you reach the ‘Steiner Mandl’. Using your sticks, walk in the direction of Hinterberg, passing some huts, and return on the easy Alpine road back to your starting point.
Altafossa/Altfass Trail
The meandering-running river accompanies you on your way through the beautiful Altafossa/Altfass Valley. The comfortable walk, framed by a very beautiful mountain backdrop, is the ideal start into a Nordic Walking routine.
Rodenecker alpine pasture “Alm” Trail
The Rodeneck Alm trail leads you to a number of very beautiful places, passing various local plants and natural moors along the way. You will be excited by the 360° panoramic views! Over lush Alpine meadows and along breath-taking paths, you return to your starting point.
