South Tyrol is a
biking paradise! Besides
mountain-bikers and cyclists, who appreciate South Tyrol for its variety of terrain, including the pass roads, there seem to be more
cyclist-hikers every year in the South Tyrolean valleys enjoying many excursions.

In particular, they enjoy the Puster Bike , a cycling route leading as far as Lienz in East Tyrol. The return journey is best made by train. The cycle trail in the Eisack Valley, leading from Vipiteno/Sterzing to Bressanone/Brixen and from there to Bolzano/Bozen and Lake Garda is a magnificent excursion. As with the previous tour, it is also possible to use the train when required.
Smaller cycling tours are possible and much recommended. These lead through all villages and towns along the less traffic-laden side roads, as well as forest and cycling trails.
